This round-table intends to present and discuss the results of the first meeting of representatives of international higher education and funding organisations who maintain an office in Brazil, planned to happen on December 2024 or January/February 2025.
The idea of this meeting came up during FAUBAI 2024 between representatives of the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland), University of Münster (Germany) and Ohio State University (United States). This initiative aims to connect institutions from several countries with similar objectives (fostering the internationalisation of research and education), who likely share common experiences and challenges. The meeting intends to enable an open channel of communication between representatives, who can share their best practices in the scientific and academic collaboration with Brazilian partners. In the medium/long term, it is expected to build a plural group that would then act as advocates for the advancement of international cooperation to the Brazilian decision-makers and stakeholders.
During the round-table at FAUBAI 2025, we seek to report the outcomes of this meeting, its most relevant discussion topics and the outlook of future meetings and activities that should support a deeper and more strategic engagement of the liaison officers with their Brazilian partners. A discussion with the audience is expected ...

A discussion with the audience is expected in order to identify other lines of action we should consider and thus improve our efforts towards international collaboration with Brazil.
Each of the three organising universities will be represented at the round-table. We expect to invite two other participants of the meeting to share their intakes, but these are still to be defined.
