HULT - The role of partnerships in a world where Al can do everything.

Session Information

The session speaks directly to the practical concerns of international educators who are navigating a landscape where funding cuts, declining student enrollment, and labor market shifts are challenging the traditional value of higher education. As institutions are pressured to prove their worth to increasingly cost-conscious students-and in a world where Al may soon be able to do many professional jobs-international partnerships will be key to long-term sustainability. This session addresses why and how such partnerships matter now more than ever.

This session is intended for international educators, university leaders, and professionals involved in global engagement strategies. The audience should have a general understanding of the current challenges in higher education. No specific technical skills are required. The session will be delivered in English and will be most relevant to those interested in how international partnerships can support institutional value and sustainability in a time of rapid change.

By the end of the session, participants will:

  • Be able to reflect on the central question: why should students still attend university in an Al-driven world?
  • Understand the kinds of skills students need to develop for a future shaped by Al.
  • Recognize the critical role international partnerships can play in helping institutions demonstrate value and remain sustainable.
